This summer day camp is open to all children including those with physical and cognitive challenges, as well as able-bodied children. At Mane Stream we design the days activities to meet the needs of each individual camper’s age, abilities, and riding level.  Siblings and friends are encouraged to attend.

Known for its organized activities that promote independence, self-confidence, team building and socialization while allowing each camper to explore and discover new skills, Mane Stream also understands that working with and riding horses can help campers to find success with a challenging and rewarding activity in a safe, fun, and affirming atmosphere.

Extended Hours: The Mane Stream Camp offers you the flexibility of extended hours to help with your busy schedule. (8:30am drop-off and 3:00pm pick-up) Confirmation with the Camp Director is required.

Camp Activities: Daily riding lessons, horsemanship activities (grooming, tacking, and leading), learning about horses and basic horse care, arts and crafts, games, and trail rides.

Skilled Staff and Volunteers: Daily activities are supervised by the Camp Director, a riding instructor, and a camp counselor who are all PATH International Certified Riding Instructors as well as being CPR and First Aid Certified.  In addition, specially trained Mane Stream volunteers assist with activities throughout the day.

“Horses, Horses, and More Horses”
(July 17-21 and July 24-28)

A camp for the horse crazy kid that just can’t get enough of horses in his/her life!  This camp is geared towards the more experienced horse enthusiast with independent riding skills who is interested in learning and advancing their riding and horsemanship skills.  Along with daily riding lessons, campers will be immersed into the world of horses and build on the basic skills and knowledge they may already have.  The goal is to strengthen these existing skills and challenge each camper to learn new ones at their own pace.  This camp is taught by a PATH Intl. Advanced Instructor who has extensive teaching experience and has successfully competed in the hunter and equitation divisions at rated horse shows along the east coast.  Campers will be given the opportunity to ride Mane Stream’s experienced and safe show horses that have competed in top level horse shows around the country.  Emphasis will be placed on independence both on and off the horse.

Camp Tuition: $400.00 per week per camper ($100.00 non-refundable deposit per week)
