Immediate Opening - Volunteer Coordinator
We're currently seeking a full-time (35 hours/week) Volunteer Coordinator. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and retaining our 250+ program volunteer base. The position requires top-notch organizational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve (often at the same time) and the ability to be flexible. Knowledge of spreadsheets, email marketing tools, and databases very helpful. Mane Stream’s programs rely on our volunteers so the Volunteer Coordinator is a key member of the administrative team. Licensed Therapists Needed in All Areas
We're always seeking part-time permanent therapists (OT, PT, SLP, and Mental Health Professionals). Candidates must hold current appropriate licensure issued by the State of New Jersey, have a minimum 1-year pediatric experience in direct treatment, current certification in First Aid and CPR, and a knowledge of and comfort in working with horses. Completion of the American Hippotherapy Association, Inc. Hippotherapy Treatment Principles- Part I and/or Eagala Fundamental training a plus and Mane Stream can help with professional development! Must have weekday afternoon-early evening or Saturday availability.
Mental Health Professionals: All work is done on the ground with no mounted activities. Sessions can be conducted with individuals, families, and/or groups through experiential activities with horses. Counseling services are for those who want to learn about themselves and others through experiential activities with the horses to process feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.

PART-TIME: Barn Staff
We're often seeking EXPERIENCED people to join our Barn Staff team. This position involves caring for 14 horses who live outside most of the time and assisting with programs as needed. Duties include feeding horses, bringing in, turning out horses, picking stalls, and more. Must be comfortable giving medications, wrapping legs, and knowing the signs of colic and other medical issues.
JOB SPECIFICS: AM & PM shifts may be available throughout the year. Benefits include 401k with match and paid time off (PTO). Applicants must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license and prior experience. Hourly rate depending on experience.

Part-Time Adaptive Riding Instructor
Mane Stream currently has openings for part-time hourly Adaptive Riding Instructors for weekday afternoons and Saturdays. Previous experience as a riding instructor required (Preferably PATH Certified). You must be comfortable developing teaching techniques that accommodate the special needs population while keeping safety at the forefront.
Duties Include: Staying on time with the schedule, planning riders’ goals and objectives, creating lesson plans, writing progress notes, assigning volunteers to riders, communicating with parents, monitoring horse behavior, and tack and helmet fit.
