Jen Dermody, Equine Manager
Sarah recently moved to the area from West Palm Beach, Florida, where she was the Volunteer Manager for Big Dog Ranch Rescue (www.bdrr.org), the largest true no-kill dog rescue in the Southeastern USA. She brings a wealth of experience working with volunteers and matching them to the needs of the staff and dogs at the facility. Her technical skills included database experience, Constant Contact, social media and Volgistics, a volunteer software management system..
Holland Kochanski, Camp Director
Holland Kochanski is the Camp Director and a PATH Registered Instructor. Holland joined Mane Stream in 2009 as the Camp Counselor, and worked as barn staff and as the Program Assistant before becoming Barn Manager in 2011 and Camp Director in 2015. Holland holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology: Law, Criminology and Deviance from the University of Minnesota, and has been a PATH Registered instructor since 2006. Holland enjoys creating games, activities and theme days to make Camp Coldbrook a memorable experience for the campers and volunteers.
Holland was born and raised in New Jersey, and enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband live in Somerville.
Gina Taylor, Operations Director
Gina Taylor is a New Jersey licensed occupational therapist. She received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Philadelphia University and a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies from Averett University. She is a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist (HPCS). Gina has actively pursued a career involving horses and people with disabilities since 1999 when she trained a horse for the World Special Olympics and began teaching in adaptive riding. Gina has continued to expand her knowledge and the knowledge of others in the Equine Assisted activities and therapies field through fieldwork student supervision for Level I and Level II students, conference presentations and her involvement with the American Hippotherapy Association and PATH International.
Gina served on the Board of Directors as the Education Chairperson for the American Hippotherapy Association. She is an AHA faculty member teaching other therapists about hippotherapy in the United States and internationally. Gina also served on the PATH Education Advisory committee to address medical questions, policies and precautions and contraindications.
Gina enjoys working with therapists from all disciplines as well as mentoring students and therapists new to the field. She enjoys the high standards and professional atmosphere at Mane Stream.
