Welcome 4 Summer Interns

What better way to spend your summer than chillin’ out with kids and horses! Please welcome our four new interns as they take a break from their strenuous studies to help out at Mane Stream.  All of them are horse lovers who have been riding since childhood, and we’re looking forward to having them with us for the 8 busy weeks to share their skills and talents in our summer programs.

Racquelle Gonzalez’s Mane Stream connection goes all the way back to 8th grade, when she first started volunteering. She continued throughout her high school years, and we’re excited to have her back as she gets ready to begin her senior year at Messiah College. A Journalism major with a minor in Public Relations, Racquelle’s college-approved internship will be spent helping out in our office as well as in the barn with the horses and campers. This we hope will give her lots of valuable experience in marketing, volunteer coordination and barn management. After she graduates, Racquelle hopes to join the team at an Adaptive Riding Facility.
