Although they were too young to volunteer, Caroline Sameth & Camille Shorten knew they still wanted to make an impact RIGHT NOW for Mane Stream. So they enlisted their family and friends to help bake TONS of desserts which they sold in one day for $1 apiece. At the end of the day they were completely sold out and their coffers were filled with $880.50.  (We’re not sure where the .50 came from…was it a broken cookie?) Well, it just doesn’t matter because these generous funds will help offset horse care costs and fund the programs at Mane Stream.

Thanks again Caroline & Camille for “Baking an Impact”! We appreciate your desire to help before you could officially volunteer onsite at Mane Stream and we look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Volunteer Orientation as soon as you turn 14!

What can you do to help Mane Stream? Be creative and you too can play a crucial role by raising money to cover the costs of horse care such as veterinary, farrier, and feed. Many of these services have been discounted but we still need your help to keep the Mane Stream herd happy and healthy. Let us know if you need any assistance with marketing materials to help make your efforts a success. Contact: info@manestreamnj.org
